Description
And So It Goes, is a follow on novel from Gerry Daly’s debut poetry book, Childhood Memories. This is a book that brings us back down memory lane to a time in 1960’s Shantalla, Galway City. It was a time when Ireland experienced unprecedented economic growth along with a massive shift in the cultural and political landscape. From leaving school as a very young boy and reaching heights as a football player to returning to adult education in later life, he speaks fondly of the many boyhood friends and of the loyalty they all shared.
A deeply moving book that is an honest description of working class family life, but most of all, a story of triumph over adversity.
